We love movies, and want to keep them alive. This site is a means of providing access to rare films for the historian and collector who cannot get a hold of these films on DVD in the United States.
These are custom DVDRs (from collector to collector only) currently label-less and sent to you in a white envelope. The price is for services, DVDs, wear on machines, envelopes, shipping, gas, etc. The contents of the DVDs are FREE :) These are also available on a trade basis. See our want list.
All films provided on this site, to our knowledge, are in the public domain, have never been released on DVD in the United States, or have rights unknown. If you DO own the rights to any of these films and would not like them provided to fans who cannot find them any other possible way, please provide credentials and let us know. We will either take the film off our list or sell it for you with your permission :)
These listings, especially the foriegn titles, violate NO laws. The section of American copyright law known as “The Berne Act” clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original version of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are not protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain.
We do not offer videos owned by American releasing companies (unless they are considered public domain). If a film should become available domestically, we immediately stop offering it to our clients.
At this point I have neither the time or the means to provide custom sleeve/dvd art. There are too many films in the archive and too little time between my real job and other projects. Thus the low price for this service.
